A film director travels to Kentucky to seek out local talent for a hillbilly musical film. There, he gets kidnapped.

Billy (Cliff Curtis) is trying to organize the biggest celebration the town of Waimatua has even seen - the 75th Jubilee of their school. In doing this, feckless Billy is trying to redeem himself in the eyes of his family, especially his frustrated wife Pauline (Theresa Healey). However trouble arrives with the return of a local former All Blacks Captain, an old flame of Pauline's.

Two members of a right wing political party are on the campaign trail in a housing estate. During the course of a day knocking on doors, it becomes clear they have differing motivations for being there.

The film is about Thomas Kora(Innocent)aged 80, who is the head of a famous family of the middle Travancore region. Residing in the estate bungalow at Peermade, he never looks more than sixty. Once the favourite henchman of Henry Sayip, Kora was presented this bungalow and estate when Henry went back to England. Thereafter people started calling him, Kora Sahib. Kora has five sons and two daughters. His youngest son Joji(Saiju Kurup), was born on the fifty sixth birth day of Kora. Since Joji was born after the golden jubilee year of Kora, he was popularly called by the neighbours as Jubilee. An automobile engineer by profession, he was also a specialist in motor cycle races, but an immature adult who can't keep serious relationships, taking life as it comes. Moreover, he was already on his way to some kind of trouble, all the time. Kora had a special liking to his youngest son, who at a point of time falls into clearly planned allegation of a murder.

Kentucky Roses follows Sadie, a Churchill Downs greenhouse worker dreaming of designing the iconic Kentucky Derby rose garland, and Ash, the son of the track's CEO who is trying to hide his identity to prove his own worth.** When a storm damages the venue two weeks before the big race, the pair must team up to repair the iconic Twin Spires and save the traditional rose blanket. Along the way, they discover a 1932 connection between their families whose romance was torn apart by class differences, forcing them to navigate past history to find their own future together.

Kentucky Jones is a half-hour comedy/drama starring Dennis Weaver as Kenneth Yarborough "K.Y. or Kentucky" Jones, D.V.M., a recently widowed former horse trainer and active rancher, who becomes the guardian of Dwight Eisenhower "Ike" Wong, a 10-year-old Chinese orphan, played by Ricky Der. Harry Morgan, previously of the CBS sitcoms December Bride and Pete and Gladys, was featured in the series as Seldom Jackson, a former jockey who assists Dr. Jones. Cherylene Lee appears as Annie Ng, Ike's friend. Arthur Wong portrays Mr. Ng, Annie's father. Keye Luke stars as Mr. Wong, a friend of Dr. Jones. Nancy Rennick appears as Miss Throncroft, a social worker. Kentucky Jones, which ran on NBC from September 19, 1964, to September 11, 1965, was the first of Weaver's four series, the most successful having been McCloud, since he left the role of the marshal's helper Chester Goode on CBS's western classic Gunsmoke, starring James Arness.Richard Bull, who later portrayed the henpecked storekeeper Nels Oleson on NBC's Little House on the Prairie, appeared twice on Kentucky Jones as Harold Erkel in episodes entitled "The Victim" and "The Return of Wong Lee".
